Middle East Vis Pre-Moot 2011

Dear Colleagues of the Vis Moots,

I wish to advise that the first William C. Vis (Middle East) International Commercial Arbitration Pre-Moot will take place on March 3rd, 2011, in Manama, Bahrain. The already registered teams come from Arab countries, namely: Egypt, Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Tunisia. We wish to advise our colleagues in the region that they are welcomed to join us whether under full competing capacity or as observing small teams. The teams will enjoy an intensive 3 days training (Feb 27 – March 1, 2011), useful for the real Vis Moot and will attend for free the one day event, the 5th Conference for Commercial and Maritime Law and which will take place on March 2nd, 2010, the theme of the conference will be "International Commercial Contracts and Crisis: Issues of Drafting, Performance and Arbitration". We also advise new speakers to join. Many of the speakers will act as arbitrators in the pre-moot. For further communication email:

Dr. Nader M. Ibrahim

Associate Professor for Commercial and Maritime Law
