International contract and CISG

Hello!

I would like any one interested to respond to my question of whether internationalisation of an agreement is feasible without the application of CISG.

With best regards.

RE: International contract and CISG

Dear sir.

Yes, I am the one who posted the topic " Internationalization of an international agreement between private parties".

In fact my case is on the international sale of helicopters, spare parts and provision of training to the pilots and mechanics for same by the Russian company to a South African buyer . My concern is raised primarily because CISG expressly excluded the application of same in the sale transaction of helicopter.

Therefore, my new topic is to get any advise as to whether internationalization of such an agreement is possible without the application of CISG.1980 and if it is possible to apply CISG on the contract, how that could possibly be done.

With many thanks for the response.

Regards.

RE: International contract and CISG

Please refer to your original topic and my last reply to your question. There you will find my suggestion unter "concerning 2".

I am still do not know waht you meas exactly with "internationalisation". A contract is international when the two parties are from different countries. Do you want to say "choose international rules / principles as applicable law"? And again: Refer therefor to you original topic.
