Can somebody help me in finding this arbitration award Arbitral Tribunal of Hamburg Friendly Arbitration. Award of October 18 1977 (Original in German) it is published in Yearbook Commercial Arbitration 1979-Volume IV,Sanders (ed) or perhaps tell me which was the applicable law for the merits of the case.I will be very gratefull if somebody help me on this particular issue.

The Award is published at page 203et seq of that Volume. The applicable law is not indicated.  The Award states that the contract was governed by the General Conditions of the Hamburg Exchange and that the result reached would have been the same under the “applicable provisions of civil and commercial law”. My guess is that the contract was governed by German law.
